Physical Education Advanced Certificate

Canisius University’s graduate advanced certificate in physical education is designed for NYS certified teachers who desire to pursue an additional certificate in physical education. The program consists of physical education content that would allow candidates to apply for an additional certificate by completing 18 credits of physical education content and passing the Physical Education Content Specialty Test (CST). The program focuses on a variety of content expected of a physical educator including movement concepts, human growth and development, curriculum, assessment, and coaching.
