Recognition of Academic Excellence

Canisius University offers a number of opportunities to celebrate student academic success.  These include:

Dean's List and Merit List recognition each semester based on a student's grades in that semester.

Honor society membership for students who meet the qualifications.

University-wide awards that are given to students regardless of their major (generally given at the Awards Ceremony at the end of a student's senior year).

Departmental awards and honors (generally given at the Awards Ceremony at the end of a student's senior year).

Graduation Honors (described at the end of the section on graduation in this catalog).
